Where Our Congregation Stands
WHAT FORMS OF JEWISH EXPRESSION DO YOU PRACTICE?
Our Jewish expression includes culture, scripture, prayer, liturgy worship, dance, and the celebration of Biblical feasts.
WHY DO WE PRACTICE IN A JEWISH EXPRESSION?
We will offer the best of our Messianic Jewish Insight to both the Jewish People and the universal Christian church.
TORAH OBSERVANCE & THE LAW
We believe that the law as found in the Mosaic covenant was fulfilled in the person of Yeshua. Because of this, we believe that all are welcome to participate in our manner Jewish expression insofar as the Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit) has confirmed it to them, and that believers in Yeshua are not condemned for not following the culturally Judaic and Rabbinic traditions. This would include Jewish dietary laws, holiday celebrations, religious dress codes, and all other Torahic, Rabbinic, and Tenach (Old Testament) statements of law and faith not directly expressed by Yeshua or his Apostles as still necessary. For further information please see out Torah Observance Paper.
ONE IN MESSIAH
We believe that the middle wall between Jew and Gentile has been torn down and that now both Jew and Gentile can worship Adonai Elohim (the Lord God) through His Son, Yeshua.
BAPTISM
We believe in In the immersion (tevilah in the mikveh) of believers as commanded by the Scriptures to be an outward sign of an inward salvation experience, symbolizing the death of the old self and the resurrection into newness of life.
COMMUNION
In the partaking of the communal elements of the matzah (unleavened bread) and the wine as instituted by Yeshua HaMashiach at His last Passover Seder, that the elements are symbolic of the Lord’s death and His resurrection.
HOW ARE GENTILES ALLOWED TO WORSHIP ADONAI ELOHIM TZEVAOT?
That the New Covenant body of the Lord is composed of both Jews and Gentiles who have accepted Yeshua HaMashiach as the Promised Redeemer and that new they are to worship TOGETHER in the House of God
